Art Licks

Art Licks launched in 2010 and has since grown to provide an essential platform and voice for the lesser-known and under-represented activities that form the grassroots of visual culture in London. The quarterly Art Licks magazine features writing and work by emerging artists, curators, writers, gallerists and collectives. Art Licks is not written about these people – it is written by them. This personal insight and decision to focus on emerging talent, all makes for a new consciousness. A really special side to the magazine is the feature, ‘Artist Commission’, for which an artist is invited to make a piece of work that sits in the centrefold of the magazine.
