This article is really a sub-article of Understanding Book Sales Reports. Please click to see that page before this one, unless you have already seen it.

Copies Sold will refer to Month, Year to Date, Life abbreviated as "Month", "YTD" and "Life"

"Copies Sold" is the net sales in copies, number of copies invoiced minus the number returned and credited.

"Month" is the calendar month specified at the top of the report.

"YTD" stands for Year to Date, this is the financial year running April - March. If the report is for November the Copies Sold YTD will be all the copies sold since April 1st including those sold in November.

"Life" stands for sales ever since Central began selling this title.

All the figures are inclusive, in the example shown Understanding Book Sales Reports the YTD figure includes the August sales and the life figure includes the year's sales.
