Making Sure Your Books Are Listed on the relevant bibliographic databases.
Possibly more important than anything else you can do to sell your books is getting them correctly listed with your distributor, Nielsen Book Data and Bowker. Whenever you inform any one of these about a new book, price change, publication date change or any other bibliographic data change tell all three of them. If you choose to use Amazon Advantage make sure you also log in and change the price there to.
The main place for entering new books is http://www.nielsentitleeditor.com/titleeditor/ but do not forget please tell Central Books as well.
When a book has been correctly listed Nielsen's data base it then usual appears on at least these three websites, checking them can be a way of testing if your book is listed.

Rookie Errors
Just because you got an ISBN from the ISBN agency and you put it on the back of the book it does noo mean anyone knows you have published a book. Always register new books with https://www.nielsentitleeditor.com/titleeditor/.

When Central Books distribute a tile (with an ISBN) it will appear on PubEasy. he publisher does no have to manage this process. |
