Summary of Free Copy and Gratis Requests

Many of our client publishers will at times ask us to despatch goods on their behalf to send out as complimentary copies, their own mail order sales, event stock or consignment stock to their overseas distributors. In these cases Central Books will be organising the delivery of stock but will not be invoicing the recipients. For this kind of work we charge either a fixed price for each weight band and for sending 40 or less books or magazines or for large despatches by time taken, materials used and carriage.
Example Charges
As we are not selling these consignments and complimentary copies they do not come under our normal distribution charges, we charge for them and here are some example charges to give you an idea of what we charge. If you are asking us about distribution we can provide more details.

Standard Charges for boxes with 40 or less Books to UK Addresses This is an inclusive picking, packing, packaging and carriage price. Over 2Kg we send by DPD next day. Deliveries to Highland and Islands can be cost more and take 2 working days. |
