Xmas and New Year Trading

Central Books always closes down on bank holidays (English public holidays). Depending on how Christmas Day falls we sometimes close for 1 or 2 additional days.

If you wish us to send a small order to the UK it will probaby go 2nd class packet post. So please place any website orders before midnight 15th December to get the order before the Christmas close down. Always tell us if an order is urgent.

For larger UK orders over 2kg 20 th Decembershould be fine. Always tell us if an order is urgent.

Shipping times  beyond the UK varry greatly please get in touch for more information.

Magazine Publisher

We may skip the potentail new magazines release between  24th December and 2nd January, please assume that magazines that arrive with us after 10am on the Thursday before Christomas Day will sit in our warehouse until the first Thursday after 1st January.

Book Publishers

Staffing in our Goods-In team will be lower between Xmas and New Year so applogises if we are bit slower however we are open for delivery except on the bank holiday days, as above.
