This is a brilliant and creative rendition in Scots by Matthew Fitt of The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse by Charlie Mackesy. Matthew has previously translated titles such as Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone and various Roald Dahl and David Walliams titles.

The BBC One film, releasing on Christmas day will adapt Charlie's soothing drawings into full colour, giving a lovely new dimension to the story. The cast is set to include Tom Hollander as The Mole, Idris Elba as The Fox, Gabriel Byrne as The Horse and newcomer Jude Nicoll as The Boy.
