‘In their brilliant and insightful interdisciplinary discussion, an opening topic of the conversation between Jess Murrain and Jason Allen-Paisant is the notion of heartbreak, in its various and multitudinous forms. Murrain suggests that these heartbreaks tend to compound each other, entwining themselves with other griefs and traumas, stretching even at points in history. In a complicated fashion, this is something that I have felt on a deep level over the past months.’

From the Editorial, by Wayne Holloway-Smith
