Unicorn Girl

Everything around us became silent. The only thing I could hear was the soft rush of breath coming from the unicorn's nose. "Hello," I whispered. "I saw you from my bedroom window, up there." When Granny Rae dies, she leaves Ariella her precious unicorn charm. Days later, a real-life unicorn appears in the empty field at the bottom of the garden. A young, gangly unicorn, with oversized hooves, a scruffy mane and eyes like puddles of purple ink. She names him Albert. Can Albert help Ariella make friends at her new school? Can he help heal the hole in her baby brother's heart? Or has Albert appeared in the field because he needs help himself? Ariella and Albert must embark on a journey together that will change them both, before their worlds part and they are forced to say goodbye forever.
